• Eco-Friendly Alternative to Plastic Wrap: Crafted from cotton fabric and coated with beeswax, this eco-friendly and reusable Bowl cover is the perfect addition to any sourdough bakers kitchen! Our beeswax bowl covers are designed to help you reduce your environmental impact while keeping your doughs and food fresh.
• Moisture-Regulating & Breathable: Unlike airtight plastic alternatives, our beeswax cotton bowl covers allow your dough to breathe and rise naturally. The breathable cotton fabric, combined with the moisture-regulating beeswax coating, prevents your dough from drying out or becoming too soggy, making it ideal for bulk fermentation, bread proofing, and sourdough starter maintenance.
• Perfect for Bread Proofing: Sized to fit 4/6/8/10/12-inch bowls(best for +/-3cm/1.2" bowls), these sourdough bread covers create the perfect environment for dough to rise, whether you're using stand mixer bowls, bannetons, proofing baskets or starter jar.
• Elastic Stretch for a Secure Fit: The elastic edges of these sourdough proofing covers allow them to stretch and fit various bowl sizes, making them versatile, you can cover a bowl of salad or pasta to take to a gathering or store a few things in the fridge or to use it as dough rising cover / sourdough bowl cover.
• Durable, Washable & Reusable: Designed to last, these sourdough covers are durable and reusable for bread proofing or as a food cover. To maintain the beeswax coating, hand wash with cold water only – no soap, no detergent, no dishwasher. Air dry after washing. This prevents wax flaking and keeps the cover long-lasting. Perfect for avid bakers or occasional bread makers.
